Ghost error: The internal structure of the image file (Last File Frame) is invalid

I'm trying to restore an image I made a few months back using Ghost 14 on Vista. When I select the image file using the Recovery Enviroment I get the message "Error ED800012: The internal structure of the image file (Last File Frame) is invalid, damaged or unsupported." 

 

When I made the image I had Ghost validate it, so I believe it was OK at the time. 

 

The image was saved onto an external hard drive when Ghost made it.  I've also tried copying the image files to a partition on the internal hard drive and running it from there, but it gives the same error.

Any ideas?
