Apologies first if I've missed something (RTFM closer).
I normally take full disc image copies of my discs, but one disc is large, so I thought I'd split up the backup into two phases.
Rather than explicitly defining what folders are to be backed up, could Ghost not be setup to use include/exclude files that relate to the schedule job name. In that way I won’t fail to back up a new folder because I’ve forgotten to add the folder to the folder list in the job.
For example
Job File Include File Exclude File
Backup G P1 Backup G P1.inc g:\a,g:\b,g:\c
Backup G P2 Backup G P2.exc g:\a,g:\b,g:\c
