Ghost: Help with Procedure for Ghosting to a Larger Drive

Sorry folks,

I searched around for an exact procedure to do what I want and didn't find what I need.

I have a Dell laptop with a 40Gig Drive. Most of it as a C: Drive and then the small Dell D: Recovery Partition.

I bought a 160Gig drive I want to install in its place.

I have a USB enclosure I can put the 160Gig drive into and plug into the laptop.

Questions:

Do I use COPY MY DRIVE?

Do I copy both C and D (at once? Separately?)

Do I set the Destination Drive (presumably it will be F: with 160Gig allocated...or was I not supposed to quick-format the new drive?) to be the new F: drive?

Am I supposed to check MAKE DRIVE ACTIVE, am I supposed to check COPY MBR?

After I clone, do I just put the new drive in the laptop and boot off it and it'll work?

Thanks for any response. I'd appreciate it,

PS: I did already try this once on this machine, copying only the c: drive. The new drive would not boot :(

Oops, PPS: I'm using Ghost 12.
