My Toshiba Satellite's C drive has an "eisa configuration partition" (the first partition  listed in 'computer managment' console in Vista).

Q1:  Does Ghost 12, when doing a full system backup, include that partition?

Q2:  If I wish to do a full restore from a Ghost image, will having that eisa partition on the C drive interfere with the restoratoin process?

Q3:  [less important] Is there a way to back up that eisa partition, just in case

When you set up a backup of Ghost.  It will list the partitions you want to include in your backup.  If it doesn't list it, then it won't back it up.  Ghost 10+ is a partition based imaging program.  So, when you restore you shouldn't have a problem as you would be restoring your system partition back to the original partition.  I don't know the answer to your third question as I'm not familiar with that kind of partition.

I figured it out.  What you might have added is that, if you do not see a partition there is an option to reveal hidden partitiions, which I did.  Also, my note says Ghost 12, not 10 as you replied.  The eisa partition is the one that manufacturers put on laptops to restore to factory fresh state
