Ghost Try/Buy package incomplete

I tried downloading the NG15SP1 Try and Buy package from [Removed] If I run It complains that it cannot find NGHOST15.MSI. I suspect that the Try/Buy package is missing the "install" subdirectory, because its behavior is the same as that exhibited by and NG15SP1 ISO I found somewhere.

I hope Symantec is reading this.  Can a working NG15SP1 Try/Buy executable be downloaded from anywhere?

I have an NG15 license and the install disk.  I have having a problem with NG15 and I would like to uninstall and reinstall.  Trying to use Add/Remove programs, the installer tells me that the version of NG15 I have installed is too new to uninstall (SP1 was installed via Live Update).  I'd rather not have to use the Norton Removal Tool because:

1)  It will nuke my installations of NIS and NU as well, necessitating reinstalling those.  (Hey Symantec, how about providing a Removal Tool that is product specific instead of a removal tool that nukes everything???)

2)  Since I don't have a working NG15SP1 installer, I'll have to install NG15 from my original disks and suffer through the endless updating.

Please!  I need either a working NG15SP1 Try/Buy executable or a working NG15SP1 ISO.

It sounds more like a problem with your PC than the download. Are you running the file as administrator? Try using 7-Zip, Win RAR or other to extract the files from NGH1501_AllWin_EnglishTryBuy30.exe then run the set up from there.

I downloaded it for my PCs and it worlked fine.

You won't need to "suffer through endless updating" because there is only one update from Ghost 15 to Ghost 15 sp1.

Try installing your original Ghost 15 version and see if it can repair the installation or replace the missing installer file.

@DaveH:  Yes, I will need to suffer through endless updating.

I cannot install my original Ghost 15 disks.  The installer complains that the current installation of Ghost is newer and must be removed first.  The uninstaller (Add/Remove program)complains that the current installation is newer and cannot be uninstalled.

My only option for removal is the Norton Removal Tool.  This will nuke my installation of NU and NIS.  In particular, reinstalling NIS will lead to an enormous amount of updating.

@redk9258: That is an excellent idea.  Thank you, I will try it.

@redk9258: Extracting the files from the EXE installer and running manually worked perfectly.  Thank you very much.  I have no idea why running the EXE file didn't work.
