Ghost with Spyware Doctor & NOD32

Installing Spyware Doctor 8.0.0.654 presented some issues for my Ghost 14 & Ghost 15 backups (on computers running Windows XP Pro sp3).

Immediately backups failed with "EBAB03F1: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"; as I wrote in this thread.  I needed to hack IRPStackSize in the registry because Spyware Doctor added a layer to the driver stack.

At this point backups would complete normally.  But then I turned on Spyware Doctor's "Intelliguard" (realtime scanning)(even with all it's "guard" modules disabled), and suddently the image "verification" step started taking many dozens of times longer (some of my backups usually take many hours, so this was a big problem).  (Apparently Spyware Doctor and NOD32 don't naturally play well together.)  I find as long as I leave "Intelliguard" off, Ghost backups with verification complete in the usual time.

This somewhat surprised me, because I didn't see a sign that the conflict was occuring:  the usage of the CPU's and of RAM and of virtual memory were all quite modest.

I hope this helps someone!
