Hi,
I have a very big hard disk I want to backup.
I first made a backup directly conecting the hard disk to the computer, because of faster transfer speed.
Soon after I connected my hd to my Airport Extreme to do the next incremental (I would have liked to do differential backups, as you state in Norton ghost official page, but we all know that NG14 doesn't have at all this feature, aren't we, Symantec?) backups.
The problem is that Ghost claims that it can't find the backup drive because he wants to find it as letter J:, while now it is connected at 10.0.0.1 as network drive.
What to do? It is quite frustrating, I can't tell it that the drive letter has been changed or that now it isn't a local drive but is a network drive.
In case you wonder, no, hdd transfer speed behind Airport is about 3/4 MB/s, good for incremental backups, not good to do a WHOLE backup.
Please could you help me?
thanks
p.s
I think that if your local backup drive change its letter from F: to G: you should have a similar situation.
