For years I've been using a tool called "GhostBuster" (http://ghostbuster.codeplex.com/) to bulk-remove obsolete device definitions from my registry. There was recently an update that, among other things, makes the product compatible with Windows 7. NAV (2011) is removing it (ghostbustersetup.msi) upon download based on a bad reputation. ("Insight Network Threat. There are many indications that this file is untrustworthy..."). There's also a portable version available (GhostbusterPortable.exe) that isn't being flagged as a problem.
I'm trying to understand how to interpret this. Should I really be concerned about this file? If so, should I be concerned about the regular install but not the portable one?
Thanks.
