Hi,i was wondering if GoBack 4.0 would work wirh windows Vista? Is Norton Save & Restore OR Ghost anything close to being like GoBack? I have used GoBack for years ...i like the incremintal restores at various times and safe points......do either Ghost or Save & Restore have that feature???
Thanks
Norton GoBack is not compatible with Windows Vista, sorry. Ghost and GoBack can both be used as backup programs, but unfortunately no further development on Norton GoBack is planned. Norton Ghost 14 does have incremental imaging that can be scheduled or triggered with a system event or malware outbreak alert. I hope this helps; please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
That particular message comes from a detection of your partition table and the boot.ini file. What did you do to correct the drive problem?
Hi Erik Well I haven’t be able to do anything. It’s not from lack of trying. I just seem unable to figure out how to make any changes! I kinda figured it was something like that at about 4:30 this morning. Thanks for answering. Sandy (Paleo)
Apologies for the delay in the response. What I was asking was you mentioned that you had a drive problem and something was done. Do you remember the "What"? That might help point to what needs to be corrected.
