I recently reformatted my Toshiba Satellite Pro Laptop and installed SP3 and now every time I make any alterations to photos or try to save a photo using Microsoft Picture It Photo Standard 9 I get BSOD with the error message BAD_POOL_HEADER and error number 0x00000019 amongst others. It doesn't happen with Photoshop CS. It seems to be caused by GoBack as when I disable it everything is fine. I know Norton have discontinued Go Back but I like it as it's saved my bacon a few times.
I am running with XP Pro and as I said Service Pack 3. Comodo firewall, AVG antivirus.
Anyone come accros this error.
I have tried running the SymRegFix.exe tool but no registry errors showed up.
Yep my live updates are up to date.
I’ve read from some of the searches on the subject that having the latest version of Norton GoBack resolves this issue. What is the exact version you have? Have you run LiveUpdate to ensure that you have all the updates for the product?
