My computer will not startup past a screen that displays <Norton GoBack (error 118)>.
I have already used a friend's computer to burn a copy of Ngbboot.iso and booted from that.
I get a screen with four options the first of which is to "Unhook GoBack" -- but the computer will not accept any input (in other words I cannot select any of the options on the screen).
I thought this latter problem might have to do with my wireless keyboard, so I bought one with a USB connection, but that did not solve the problem (still can't select anything from the disc -- although the keyboard is definitely working as I can navigate the SETUP menus -- for example to set things up so that the computer will boot from the CD).
Any other suggestions?
This problem is really troubling as it completely blocks me from using my computer - but I am no expert -- is there some way I can startup that bypasses GoBack or whatever is causing this problem? It would be nice to at least be able to backup my latest work...
Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions.
