GoDaddy Webbuilder_Marketing websites misbehave on Windows - Calendar sections have the wrong times - they are floating

GoDaddy Webbuilder_Marketing websites misbehaves on Windows - The “cause” was AntiTrack (AT) excluding two trackers: “secureserverdotnet” and “wsimgdotcom”. The Calendar sections of the website displayed correct times after turning off AT. This screenshot seems to indicate that the culprit was “ws.imgdotcom”.

Hello @David_Rogers
As per AI

It sounds like you solved a frustrating issue! For GoDaddy Web Builder sites, secureserver.net and wsimg.com are core domains used to host critical assets, images, scripts, and widget data (like calendars).

When privacy tools like Norton AntiTrack block these domains, essential scripts fail to load. This causes the website to “misbehave” or display broken data like incorrect times.

This new screenshot shows exactly what went wrong.
When the calendar displayed the incorrect times, Norton AntiTrack was actively blocking both secureserver.net and wsimg.com.

Your deduction is spot on. While secureserver.net manages data communication, GoDaddy uses wsimg.com (GoDaddy’s static web assets domain) to deliver the critical JavaScript code that renders and calculates elements on the page—including localized time zone shifts for the calendar widget.

When Norton blocked wsimg.com, the script responsible for adjusting the event times to the local time zone couldn’t load, resulting in the “bad times” visible in the background.

AntiTrack - WHERE IS THE VERSION?

Hello @David_Rogers
As per AI

• Click the Settings gear: This is the right place to go. Clicking it opens the configuration panel, and the software version number (like 4.8.x.x) is typically listed at the very bottom of that settings menu overlay.
• Click the Question Mark icon: This will open the Help or About menu, which also displays the product name, client version number, and account information.

Finding the exact software version inside Norton’s interfaces can be notoriously tricky, as they often tuck it away behind a secondary settings or help layout.

Depending on whether you are looking inside the browser extension pop-up (the window from your screenshots) or the main Windows desktop application, here is exactly where to look:

1. In the Main Windows Desktop App (Most Reliable)
The extension itself doesn’t show the version number on its face, but the main app installed on Windows does:

2. Open the Norton AntiTrack application from your Windows Start Menu or System Tray.

3. In the top menu bar or left navigation panel, look for Help or About.

4. Click About. A pop-up window will appear showing the full version number (e.g., Version 1.x.x.x or similar).

5. Through the Web Browser (For the Extension Version)
If you are trying to find the version of the exact browser extension doing the blocking:

• In Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge: Paste chrome://extensions into your URL bar and hit Enter. Find Norton AntiTrack in the list; the version number will be displayed directly under the extension name.
• In Mozilla Firefox: Type about:addons into your URL bar, press Enter, and click on Extensions. Click on Norton AntiTrack, and scroll down to the bottom of its detail page to find the version number.

3. Alternate Windows Method (Via Control Panel)
If the app interface is giving you trouble, you can see the precise version Windows recognizes:

4. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run box.

5. Type appwiz.cpl and press Enter to open your Programs and Features menu.

6. Scroll down to Norton AntiTrack. Look all the way to the right side of that row—the Version column will explicitly display the exact software version installed.
