Hello @Kathleen_Van_Vleet
Do you have Norton 360 installed – at this time?
The installed Norton 360 application is the software; the license/subscription determines the entitlements available to that installation.
If the new LifeLock Select subscription was added to your existing Norton account, you normally shouldn’t need to download Norton 360 again. If you received a new product key, the key first needs to be redeemed to your Norton account, and the existing installation should then be able to pick up the new subscription.
How did you change from Norton 360 Deluxe to LifeLock Select—did you purchase a new subscription/key, or did you upgrade/change the plan through your existing Norton account?
Did you receive a new product key when you changed to Norton 360 LifeLock Select?
Did you register new product key with your Norton account?
You shouldn’t normally need to download Norton 360 again just because you changed plans. How the new subscription is applied depends on how you obtained it. If you changed the subscription through Norton, the existing installation may pick up the new entitlement after signing in/refreshing. If you received a new product key, the existing Norton 360 installation has an “Enter a Key” option.
How did you change from Norton 360 Deluxe to Norton 360 LifeLock Select—through Norton, or through another provider?

To register for Norton 360 with LifeLock Identity Theft Protection , you must first purchase a subscription and then create a linked account to access the services.
1. Purchase and Account Creation Once you purchase the subscription, you are directed to the Norton Dashboard to create your account. It is critical to create an account with the same information used to purchase the subscription to ensure proper linking. You can sign up using your email address , Apple ID , Google email , or Microsoft account at https://login.norton.com . If using email, you will receive a verification link to complete the setup.
2. Activating Identity Theft Protection After logging in, you can set up the specific identity theft components:
Open your Norton device security product .
In the My Norton window, next to Identity Theft Protection , click Set Up .
On the LifeLock Member Login page, click Sign in With Norton .
Enter your credentials and sign in.
Click View Dashboard under ID Theft Protection to access your profile.
Norton 360 uses a common/unified installer across its subscription tiers. The subscription license determines the entitlements and features available to the installed product, rather than each 360 plan requiring a separate installer.
The Norton 360 installer is essentially subscription-agnostic. The installed client obtains its entitlements from the applicable Norton subscription/license, so changing between Norton 360 plans doesn’t normally mean installing a different version of the software.
Norton 360 uses a subscription-driven entitlement model rather than a plan-specific installer model.
