Am I protected for the Golden Eye ransomeware?

You didn't mention what operating system or antivirus software you use, but if you have Vista SP2 or higher and received your March 2017 Patch Tuesday updates then you should be protected against the EternalBlue exploit used in last month's WannaCry ransomware attack as well as this week's GoldenEye / Petya ransomware attack. A patch is available for Win XP SP3 but it was not delivered via Windows Update and must be installed manually.
Symantec and Norton security products provide an additional layer of protection against the EternalBlue exploit.
