Having spent close to a month with "The Norton Family Server is unavailable. Please try again later" and a couple of hours of online help installing new versions I am now resigned to replacing this functionality altogether. I like the product because of its simplicity, but enough is enough.
Does anyone have suggestions for a currently working product?
Maybe some of the other antivirus products package something like it?
"Very soon" in the software world means they really don't know when they will have it fixed. It's like when you take your car in to get it fixed and they say "they all do that", somehow that makes it OK that they produces many cars with the same problem.
Is Norton going to refund all it's customers for the time they the software wasn't working?
