Google Chrome Extension request for Safe Web

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but will an extension for Chrome be published (for SafeWeb)? 

 

The last time the issue was raised, Chrome extensions were in beta. Now they have been around for a while, and it would be nice to see Symantec support the third biggest browser.

Support for Chrome is through extension API - this can be acheived without major changes to NIS2011 code - no reason why it can't be done in 2010, for the existing line. A relatively small client update, most of the work being in the extension. It's probably posible to create the extension without even updating the client (afterall, SafeWeb exists as a separate site).
