Issue abstract: Trouble shooting google chrome update

Detailed description: I called for support from Norton about reinstalling Google Chrome. (Norton informed me that Chrome needed updating) I was unable to update according to Microsoft it was because of a Norton antivirus settings. I then called Norton customer service. Norton customer service took remote access of my computer to access with Google Chrome download. After several unsuccesful attempts the Norton customer service agent then uninstalled Norton from my laptop and then tried to download Google Chrome. This was unsuccessful also. The customer service agent then passed me on to his supervisor who then asked for $19.99 to assist me telling me it is not a Norton problem and that it needs a 3rd party to help me. I then said no the additional charge and they cut off the chat and the remote access. I then called customer service agent and asked for assistance to reinstall Norton. She began to uninstall Norton but the uninstall was not successful just spinning and spinning. She passed me on to her supervisor who then shut down the chat and the remote access. I have been a Norton customer for a long time and this is not good.
