We have two different computers, both running Windows 7, both running Noron Security Suite (which didn't stop the virus).
For both computers, only one of the user accounts is exhibiting the Google Redirect. Occurs for IE, Firefox and Chrome. The URL displayed is https://www.google.com and won't allow entry to any other search engine or norton site.
Unfortunately, I already tried running Norton NPE and Bootable Removal tool, no change.
Briefly looked at hosts file and did not see any extra lines. I stopped trying to fix after reading QUADs recommendation NOT to use the NPE first! Help! I am stuck and don't want to make the situation worse. .
Recommendations?
