Hi, I am writing on behalf on my sisters Windows xp pc, she has NIS 2013 (not sure of the version number - 20.xxx. something)..
for the last 3 months. Everything worked fine until yesterday, she did not get any pop ups or download any suspicious files/programs etc
Since yeesterday she is unable to search wth Firefox 16, I was over there ealier today and installed FF 17.01, when she types sometheng in the main google search window, no pages load at all and she gets a blank screen, yet if she types something in the address bar (at the top) the pages load as normal.
I tried with NIS disabled with no result, I uninstalled/reinstalled Fireffox with no result. I aslo tred downloading Google Chrome, but for some reason it will not download. IE9 is not installed on her pc.
I ran full scans witb NIS and Malwarebytes and found no infection/malware etc..
Any help would be much appreciated!
