Got the Norton driver update program and now I have no speakers on my laptop

I have had Norton 360, but not the driver updater. It was telling me that I had 18 out of date drivers so I purchased the update program. After it ran and updated the drivers, it did a restart. I immediately noticed that I no longer have sound from my laptop speakers. It tells me that I have no audio device installed. Prior to this update the speakers worked just fine. How to I get this back.
