Great Antivirus but now no support and worst ever user interface

I just got another version of Norton Internet Security. This is one of the few companies whose seem to do well in spite of the fact that their products devolve to a worse user interface with every update. Norton used to be the best.  Their antivirus still seems to be great.  With my newest version it appears there is no longer ANY support.  Now, my internet passwords no longer function unless I log in every time I get on the computer. Ane, I wonder... is it just me or do others feel Norton has the absolute worst user interface of any software on the market?  Do they go out of their way to make things non-standard and obtuse?  Admittedly, Microsoft has devolved, too, to inanne online "HELP" that is usually less than helpful.  Guess I just need to find another antivirus since it seems it is now impossible to even contact Norton/Symantec.

 

I keep trying to NOT have to log in and start the password system.  I even have the setting to NOT login. But, no online logins are provided until I do.  Better yet, the software considers it a PROBLEM that I do not scan outgoing email for viruses - even though by doing so it causes my email to fail if there are any attachments, so it defeats sending any email and still considers that a problem... yes, it is a problem within the software that Norton will never bother to address.  Guess that's what happens when there is no care for the customer - only for corporate accounts and the bottom line.
