'Greek' licence key used on English version?

Hi All,

After I posted another thread re updating a licence key, I purchased a three licensed boxed version of NIS 2010 today. It is a Greek version but I don't intend to use the disc, just renew this license key in 6 months time when my current one expires. I assume this should be ok?  the package was for just under half the price I would pay by renewing online!

Any thoughts anyone.

Hi brummie,

product keys are completely indifferent to language versions of Norton. You can use a Greek key to renew your English NIS - I bought a German version of NIS 2010 and used the key to renew my father's English NIS in January.

Finally, we've had users coming to the forum asking if/how they could switch the language of their Norton program; and they could always use the same product key.

So when you renew your English NIS with your product key from the NIS package you purchased in Cyprus, it should be just fine :-)

Hello Yaso_Kuuhl,

You're a star and a gentleman, I thought that this must be the case but posted just to put my mind at rest. Thought you gave a very informative answer to my question. Have a nice weekend mate.

 Aufwiedersehn!

Brummie

Guten Tag brummie,

Thank you very much for your kind words - I'm glad I could help. Just a tiny addition: I'm a gentlewoman :smileytongue::smileyvery-happy:

Ich wünsche Dir ebenfalls ein schönes Wochenende :-D

(Translation: I wish you a nice weekend, too)

Thanks for putting me right, we always assume it is a male we are communicating with, there you go.

Aufwiederhören! (I apologise if I have mispelt as it has been years since I last spoke German).
