If the files in your E:\Recycler folder will delete, then there is no reason you can't delete them. As Hugh noted they should go away when you tell the Recycle Bin to empty itself the normal way. If they don't go away in the normal manner, then they are fair game to be deleted by whatever method works.
Keyfinder.exe is a legitimate application that has been around for a long time. You can read about what it does here:
From time to time I find it a useful application and so keep it in a password protected zip file to prevent NIS from detecting it yet still have it around when I want to use it.
The file is probably corrupt somewhere on your computer. I had the file on my hard drive in a folder that had been unzipped. It is a program that finds the Windows key on your computer for you to write down or print.
Here is what I did. I searched my hard drive for keyfinder.exe in Windows Explorer and it found it on my hard drive in a folder. Remember it is not and installable program but one that runs from and unzipped folder. Delete the whole thing and then rescan you computer and it will not show anything like "Hacktool" in the file keyfinder.exe.
THEN go to: http://magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ and download the file again. When I did that Norton didn't find anything after another scan. It worked for me!
Here is another keyfinder that works and Norton won't detect it as Hacktool. It also works well with Vista. Take a look and it is a free download.

Not really; and, to be honest for you it no longer matters because Norton is no longer detecting it on your system thanks to your having figured out how to get rid of it.

I've awarded you a Kudos! as you are correct. The 2.0.1 version is not detected by Norton as a hacktool and so I have simply replaced my older version with the new one which is handier than keeping it as a password protected zip file. Thanks for passing along that information.
i had the same problem, but to fix it is rather simple, just view your activity logg on norton, find where the virus is located and then delete it manually. i got mine from a winrar file that my friend sent me and it was inactive until now. So make sure you check your my recieved folder to and remove all traces of the file listed on the activity logg. Hope that helps
