Had 20.2.1, uninstalled and reinstalled how to I get 20.2.1 back?

I had 20.2.1.22 installed and ended up uninstalling and reinstalling NIS 2013 to try and fix a problem with NIS not properly detecting when my system is idle (it was thinking it was alway idle after resuming from standby).  Now I'm back on 20.2.0.19.

I've runing Live Update, rebooted and repeated several times, but Live Update says there are no updates.  I know that 20.2.1 hasn't been sent out to everyone yet, but I already had it prior to uninstalling?

How do I get it back?

I don't really care about the updates in 20.2.1, I just want to test to see uninstalling and reinstalling fixed my problem and I'd rather use the latest update to test that.

Hi Morac,

Same answer I gave you here:

Same response I gave you there as well.

I ran live update until it said there were no updates, rebooted and repeated.  It is currently saying there are no updates.

Look in your other post - I'm not answering both threads any more.

I'm not sure why you even replied in the other thread since that thread is about a problem with Norton not detecting when my system is no longer idle.

I was just trying to be helpful - but if you really need the patch, please see the below information:

3. How can I manually install these patches?

All customers will receive the patch once we have confirmed its effectiveness. However, if you did not receive the 20.2.1 update and wish to apply the patch immediately, please contact Tony Weiss via email (address is visible on profile) requesting the patch. Be sure to use "Update 20.2.1 patch request" as your subject, and include the product (Norton Internet Securty, Norton AntiVirus, Norton 360 Standard or Norton 360 Premier). Expect a reply within 24 hours.

I don't need the patches, I just want to know why I'm not updating back to 20.2.1 when I already had it to begin with.

I'm not sure what you're saying, but I had already updated to 20.2.1 last week.   I uninstalled today and reinstalled, which gave me version 20.0.1.19.   One would expect that since I was already given the 20.2.1 update, I would get it again after reinstalling.  I did not.

If you got the update from LiveUpdate, it is possible you got it as part of the first part of the phased rollout. It is possible that part of this phase in is to stop allowing it for a few days until they know all is well.
