I've been an NIS user for many years but 2013 may be my last version. My annoyance level with the NIS "Anything but QuickScans" has reached my breaking point. I'm tired of my computer freezing for minutes at a time due to these QuickScans. I do not understand why full system scans are implemented such that the scans can run without consuming the whole computer but the QuickScans consume almost 99% of my CPU.
I hope somone from the NIS development team watches this form because if they don't add an option to disable QuickScans, NIS 2013 will be my last version. AVG isn't all that bad.
