Hi, i recently ...ACCIDENTLY type symantec.cm .... it lead me to a webpage..blank and said sorry this offer is not in your country and lead me to a webside...blank..nothing...below it said...trackingid------.com . is there something infecting my computer now ???

my brother is taking care of my internet thingy....i asked him to put password to make it secure but he said he used lynksys thingy and make it so that when people connect, they cant use it but only the allowed ip address can use it.When connecting to it, it says that information are not encrypted as it is not secured....if i am using it and typing things..will my info, password be seen by other people ?
