Have Proved Norton Toolbar is Causing Firefox to Crash

For over a year now since Norton added that silly vault opening graphic to the opening of the Identity Safe Vault, have had constant issues with Firefox.  With Win 7 the problem was that the dropdowns froze after a varying amount of time.  Bought a new Win 8.1 and the problems morphed to touching the dropdowns after a varying amount of time Firefox would crash regularly and avoiding touching the dropdowns Firefox would still crash randomly.

Yesterday I decided to see if not logging in to my vault the tool bar would result in improvement but, still the crash so I disabled the toolbar and relied on another password manager.  Well, for almost 2 full days without enabling the toolbar, no crashes whatsoever.  Going to keep this configuration until I have to have a password only in Norton Identity Safe but, enough for me to declare that the toolbar is definately the problem and only solution is to not use it by disabling it.

Cannot believe that in over a year, Norton Engineers have either been unable or perhaps unwilling to fix this obvious issue!!!!  Definately a relationship between the Identity Safe Toolbar and Firefox, all versions since the stupid vault graphic.  Have sent crash reports to Norton identifying Norton as the culprit and asked about them and absolutely NO response.  Is this anyway to keep paying customers??????
