Have to install again each year on additional machines?

I have Norton 360 Premium(5 Devices) & the subscription expired so I purchased the software again from Staples.

After about 300 clicks I found out where to input the new key on the already installed software on my desktop PC.

When I tried it on my laptop, nothing seemed to happen. I would input the new key, the software would open a webpage asking which subscription I wanted to go with. I closed that and went back to the software and it still just showed as “expired”

I ended up uninstalling it and reinstalling it with the new key which is kinda annoying.

Did I miss something here or should just entering the key on extra machines work?

I have 3 more machines that have Norton 360 already installed that I want to update with the new code and I’d rather not have to uninstall/reinstall if I don’t have to.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

T

On your remaining machines, click on the username at the top right of the main 360 interface. That will bring up the Account page. At the bottom click on Sign Out. Restart your computer and then go to the Account page and sign in again. That should pick up the new key.

Going forward, for the first machine go to Norton - My Subscription and enter the key there. That will check the installation and activation for that machine. Then for the remaining machines, follow the process above.
