The staffers are constantly working on the forum.
Maybe they are busy at the moment. I have some hickups as well.
Thanx for mentioning

Normally, I sign in as soon as I get to the site. Today, however, I neglected to do that. When I went to reply to a thread (I opened a new tab in FF3), I was asked to sign in. No problem.
After I posted my message, closed the tab, and went back to the main screen, I had to sign in again.
No biggie, but it seems to me once I'm signed in the forum should remember it?
Sign-on is session and cookie dependent. I'm thinking that if you had refreshed the page (or clicked any link) on the original tab while you had the second tab (that you actually authenticated on) still open, then you would not have lost your login when closing the second tab. (In other words closing the authenticated tab, without first forcing the other tab to realize login had occurred.) When I tried to duplicate your actions, I stayed logged in on the first tab after closing the second tab. The result can vary somewhat with differnt browser options and plug-in's.
Login problems are often the result of damaged cookies and can be cleared up by clearing cookies. If you don't want to clear all of them send me a PM for more specific information.
Hi Allen_K! I have experienced the same behavior too, after logging on for the first time after registration. Since that first time though everything is working fine! Charles.

Thanks for letting me know. Remember logins are all cookie driven. My first advice on login issues will always be clear your cookies, or clear 3 specific cookies, it pretty obvious which 3 they are, but if anyone needs specifics on that send me a PM.
