My Norten client has been inactive for weeks, but my subscription is still valid until December 8th. Downloading from the account and reinstalling is not helping. Just the status in the client switched from "not being protected" to your "trial version run out," and you are not protected. What a cruel joke after having spent so much money!!!! I can't access Norton support; they constantly have too many requests.
1) What can I do so that my active subscription is recognized?
2) How and where can I apply to get my money back for the time in which Norten did not protect me, but I had a valid subscription? Or at least a credit extension of my current subscription
If I don't have a valid subscription and I renew. Then the end date of the subscription should be today + 1 year = October 30th, 2024. But my subscription end date is now December 8th, 2024. This means Norton added the renewal to the subscription that was not recognized in the last few weeks.
Okay....you got all your time.
I'm head scratching why your Norton Security was You are no longer protected?

But I was able to solve the problem. I have renewed my subscription, and the client works again. Fun fact: The subscription end date is not a year from today, but December 8th a year from now. This means it took my current subscription into account.
You mean....you just now renewed your subscription?
Fun fact: ? end date is December 8th a year from now
Subscription renews on: 12/08/2023 = December 8th 2023

This means it took my current subscription into account. So I got what I wanted, and the only financial damage that occurred were the weeks in which the client didn't work. I'll let that go. Too much bureaucracy in getting a refund for the last few weeks.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to look at the problem

What's your geo-location/country?
Maybe, I can post Norton phone number - your location. If you want.
Seems, odd "too many request". I usually reach Chat Now agent in a few minutes (from my location).
Maybe, issue is backend? IDK
Maybe, try clean reinstall = No improvement?
Then, maybe try Contact Norton Official Support...again.
4) after clean Norton 360 install > run Norton LiveUpdate a few times + machine Restart (not Shut down) a few times. Repeat. Norton 360 = 22.23.9.9 (at this time)
5) Review Norton Settings to your preference. Create Backup Sets to your preference.
6) run Norton 360 Full Scan (once)
7) run Norton LiveUpdate + machine Restart (not Shut down)

Another indication that something is wrong.
Since my subscription is only valid for about another month anyway, I wanted to forget about it and extend it. And what do I have to see In the introduction? I am informed (in German) that my current subscription expires in 40 days.
Also, I would expect when the "Annual Subscription" status says Active with a green light. Then, it is an active subscription. There is even a history section showing disabled products:
That was my first thought, too, but then I went into my profile and saw that all the dates (linked account, since) were in the American format MM/DD/YYYY, even though I usually use the other format DD.MM.YYYY. But to be sure, I check my credit card statement, then I will have certainty.
Your subscription expiry shows 12/8/2023. My subscription expiry shows 11/17/2026.
Some parts of the world use different date formats. Mine is month/day/year. If yours is the same, your subscription would have expired in August. That would also explain about your backed up files no longer available in your image. Backup files are maintained by Norton for 30 days after a product expiry and are then purged from Norton's server.
