I manage Norton products for a number of people, and am having certain troubles in the manage.norton.com web site, in trying to work out which PC is which.
After signing in, the home page gives me a list of Devices (PCs). However they are called Windows-1, Windows-2 and so on. I would rename them but don't know which is which.
The Devices tab just gives me the same list. Although it tells me which product key each device has, each product key refers to 3 devices and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to work out which device is which.
On the Services tab, there is some very useful information. For each subscription it tells me the names of the 3 machines for that sub. These are generally the Windows names so i can instantly identify the machine. However, as far as I can see, there's no way to relate that information (the actual name of the device) to the devices shown in the devices tab.
The best I can hope for at the moment is that, with the information provided (product key), I can narrow it down to 3 PCs.
The devices page would be far more useful if it could use the name of the computer rather than just Windows-x
I'd be happy to make the changes by hand if only I could work out which device to rename!
So... have I missed something blindingly obvious? How can I change the device name shown on the devices page to something that can identify a particular machine?
