Help!!! After uninstall of NIS my reinstall shows-up in chinese. Related to my Redirecting Issue??

This all started with trying to fix my computer from redirecting while doing searches. Still not fixed. I'm using current IE and current NIS. Norton support wanted me to remove and reinstall NIS. In the my account area it shows my products and everything is correct except when you click on the NIS it says it is in chinese simplified language. I have spent at least 7 hours online with a Norton person controlling my computer and finally he said he couldn't fix and to call another one of their 800 numbers. I really need some help. I still need to fix my redirecting problem. Are these related? Thanks, Greg
