It appears more nuisance than malicious and the reviews on Norton Safe Web are quite good.

1. Check your add-ons to see if there is anything added. Check all browsers.
2. Check add/remove to see if there has been an installation. Downloads come with extras sometimes.
3. Clear your browser caches, history, etc.
4. Flush your dns cache. Instructions below.

What Norton Product and version do you have installed on your computer?
What operating system (OS) do you have, and do you have the current Service Pack and all the uppdates installed on your computer.
This problem you are having on your computer, that redirects to a webpage, does that happen all the time, when you are out surfing the net, or is it contained to specific webpages.
Which are your main web browser that you are using all the time, are you using Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer?
Have You tried to use a diffrent web browser to if you have the same problem thier to?
Have you done a Full System Scan with the latest updates from Liveupdate?
Try Norton Power Eraser, its a good Security Tool, but be carefull with it.

The use of the Norton Power Eraser should be listed last and be used after Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware. NPE is a more powerful tool which should be used with supervision. Also when using Mawarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware, please make sure you get the free versions and remember to update them. Thanks.
I tried with NFE and spyware tools ... but still issue is there.

Just to be on the side of caution, I would not recommend downloading MalwareBytes from the link mentioned above as it may not be the most current version. Also, and don't quote me on this but I seem to recall a virus which lurked under the name of Malwarbytes at one time. I think it was KOOBFACE Worm/Virus something like that.
The official Manufacturers link is here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ (It is quite safe, I use this one myself.)
I would certainly recommend running MalwareBytes before you go any further, I know from my own experience that M'Bytes often finds threats that other anti-virus programs miss! It couldn't hurt anyway.

We all test our links before we recommend them. The link you gave used to go to CNET.com. It now goes to Techspot.com. The developers of MBAM do not release it on their site for whatever reason. If you know Techspot.com and can recommend it for safety, let us know.

Hmm seems like a strange beastie is at work.., have you got your wires crossed? I have not given any links to CNET or Techspot, in fact the link which the other contributor listed for MBAM is on the Filehippo website.., not the ones you mentioned!
I only recommended the manufacturers site because this is the OFFICIAL home of MBAM as found in the MBAM 'About' page in the actual program menu. MBAM has been available for download here now for several years that I know of. Perhaps you're running the fake/virus version of MBAM?

Malwarebytes' uses mirror sites for their downloads. Clicking the Download button at Malwarebytes.org will take you to Cnet, MajorGeeks or another site that hosts the download. I agree with your general point though, that it is generally a good idea to go directly to the software maker's site, even if you end up being directed to another site for the actual download. The trouble with many of these mirror sites though is that they are so cluttered with ads and download buttons for software of various quality, that it is often easy for novices or inattentive users to download the wrong product.

Thanks for pointing that out to me.., Delphinium didn't make that very clear previously. (Sorry Delphi)! Actually after she made her comment I double checked by hovering my mouse pointer over the download link and it said; 'http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php', this seemed to further clarify my point that the download was on the same site. Glad we've got it cleared up now though! 
Yes I suppose I wasn't too clear either for my reasoning behind downloading from the manufacturer's site, something which I would always recommend where possible, especially if you're downloading security software!
