All, I just recently purchased a new vista laptop with the trial 360 software. I am only 10 days into the trial. My laptop is slowing to snails pace, My hard drive is running contiuously. I try to run 360 and after around 180K of files are scanned I get the message that the Symantec Service Framework stopped working and was closed.
Prior to starting the scan NAV told me that I was up to date with new updates but my machine had not run a virus scan for 6 or 7 days and was overdue.
Please help me get the software running again. So far I can't see why I would want to buy it........
When this message has turned up 360 has shut down. I have tried re opening it and get the same message. However if I shut down and restart, the PC 360 will run again. I need to re run it one more time to see if it stops on the exact same file. Will come backt o you shortly.
