Why does this virus have to be removed manually?? NIS support referred me to a site that instructs "how to remove" - - - involves disabling system restore; removing files; enabling system restore. I am NOT experienced enough to do this. Searched high/low for reliable computer help in my area. Took computer to them - - - seems all they did was disable sys restore; run NIS (no viruses found); enabled sys restore and billed me. Brought unit home;
reconnected; ran NIS and found the same virus still on my computer. Now the 'reliable computer company' says all they can do is wipe my system clean and start all over. TELL ME THIS ISN'T THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS ISSUE, please !?!?!?! I use my computer every day - - - I'm in a panic.......
