Help please! "Unauthorized Access Logged". What does this mean?

I am using Norton 360 for my protection. Yesterday, I chekced my "Recent History" and saw that there was "Unauthorized Access Logged/Access Thread Data". What does this mean? Please help out!

Please check the History Log details for these messages.

Norton is just logging a notice that it blocked an unauthorized access request from an outside program to improperly access Norton controlled memory or processes.  Some programs will ask for "READ / WRITE" when they really only want "READ ONLY" access to memory (they want to know what is happening; your OS will ask this sometimes).  Norton does not allow any other programs or processes to modify Norton processes or controlled memory.

Alright. In the history it says that the "actor" is windows/system32/services.exe and target is Program FIles (x86)/Norton360/ Engine. Is this ok? Really sorry, but it says that the severity of this action is Medium and I don't really know what it means.

That is fine; Norton was just saying that something tried to access some Norton process and was blocked.  You are safe; this is just a informational message.  These are perfectly normal messages.

Okay. Thank you. I'm just tired of all the viruses that keep on crashing my computers.
