Hello can anyone please advice me.I bought Norton security for 5 devices.ive successful downloaded it to my computer, laptop and now tried to download it to my phone I keep logging in and it's saying trial has ended and to upgrade.i go to upgrade and it keeps saying it has server issues.how can I solve this problem as I've paid for the full version on my phone.thankyou

The phone call is a complete scam. This scam is well known and is being seen extensively recently. The warnings and errors logged in Windows Event Viewer that the scammers use to frighten you are actually normal and harmless. Do not be taken in by this. If you have already given these people your credit card number you should immediately notify your card issuer and stop payment. You should also cancel the card and request a new one, as the bad guys would have your number to use in fraudulent transactions. If you did not give out any credit card information, and if you did not download any software from these people, you are safe. Please let us know what happened.

Did you mean to say mirsoft or microsoft? We've seen re[orts of a scam using Microsoft's name (and using Norton's)
Do follow the advice here and I'd add that it would be a good idea to run one or both successively of the FREE versins of these two malware cleaner-uppers:
Malwarebyte
Superantispyware
I'm assuming of course that you can effectively and safely access the internet if necessary on a different computer.
Download and install the free versions since they do all you need by running on command, not in the background. Be careful that you do chose the free versions.
Then update them to the latest definitions and run them in turn.
Both have a good reputation for cleaning up.
If you ae not sure what they are telling you then you can post the logs they produce in a message here.
If by any chance they refuse to install or won't run after installing because malware is preventing them you can sometimes defeat the malware by changing the name of the exe file to anything except its real title!

Have subscribed to Norton Internet Security since 2007. Seems I had a virus attack...went through an attempted repair/recovery process...lost lots of data....now back on..can get into Norton site and see subscription..9 months left..took advice re help video...took up 15 day trial of NIS...2 days ago..advice was to do this and the input existing 25 character code to switch on my existing subscription..didnt work ..message indicates this is a different product...so how do I get my subscription working again on the same laptop...and how do I get rid of 15 day trial period(my norton page shows my original sub and trial subscription)..do not want to be paying twice...as you might imagine this has been a bad experince...thought i was protected...all help gratefully received..
Hi, I have 2 daughters set up and only one of them shows the paw in the taskbar at the bottom of the windows desktop. I am the administrator account and the paw shows on mine, also, which is good. I would like to be able to see the paw so that I know it’s working without having to log on and try to go to a blocked site to verify it is working. I love this product, it works fantastically, I just want to be able to see the paw on both daughters. Both have their own user accounts set up the same way. Thanks so much.

Sorry. I cannot see anything in the zip file that shows anything about App Advisor not working. The mp4 file has nothing to do with anything here.
Did you try the suggestions I gave above for resetting the product notifications setting to try to get the icon back?
sir please find screenshot where nms malware icon is missing in notification area and recording where google app advisor is not getting on even after setting up. the service(s) applock and norton mobile security goes back to off. all are compressed in zip file.

First question is have you restarted your phone since installing Norton. Just like PC's a restart can solve a lot of problems.
a. I am forcing liveupdate otherwise it does not happen.
Are you checking this from the Activity Log in Norton Mobile Security, NMS? There was an issue with the previous versions of NMS that were addressed in the latest release.
b. malware scan which will happen whenever mobile is restared (in old phone) is not happening
This is by design. When the phone is started, it should check LiveUpdate and scan the device to make sure you are starting with a clean system.
c. malware free notification icon is gone most of times. i don't know how to take screen shot, since pressing power button does not show that option.
Most times, or all times? Try going into the NMS Settings. Tap on the 3bars at the top left and tap App Settings. Make sure Ongoing Notifications is checked. If it is already checked, uncheck it, restart your phone, and then re check the setting. Sometimes settings just get muddled.
d. web protection = setup is not happening even after doing all options
What options are you referring to? The only option is on or off.
e. contact backup = requires signup, but not proceeeding further
Check this again after restarting your phone. A couple of other users have been reporting this lately. Are you using a non English version of NMS?
f. app advisor / scan on google play is not happening
Did you turn on the feature in NMS Settings?
g. web protection setup is not happening

This depends on what market you are in. There is no combination with Norton Wifi Privacy, NWP. This is because of the fees required for NWP service that many users will never use and would not want to have to pay for nothing.

You cannot install an antivirus on an infected pc. You need to fully remove the virus. What antivirus were you using before or still are? First download MalwareBytes AdwCleaner and run a scan.
