I had NIS 2010 running on a Packard Bell Easy Note laptop using Windows Vista. Unfortunately, a friend tried to install Windows 7 and messed up the install. I finally recovered the original Windows Vista from the partitioned drive, and (fortunately) was able to reinstall most of the additional software from backup discs that I had made prior to the attempted change of OS. Unfortunate (again) I was unable to reinstall NIS 2010...I can see the backup data on the disc but just don't know how to reinstall it. On top of that I can't remember the software code...all I can remeber is that I had something like 400 days+ left on the licence. To be on the safe side I have relaunched the original Norton from the partitioned drive to give me 90 days piece of mind until I sort this problem out.
I do run a seperate Norton 2010 on my home PC.
