I have Norton Ghost 14.
I have Windows XP and it is occasionally has trouble booting up. I would like to restore my laptop to an earlier date.
My hard drive is partitioned as C and E drive. C has the OS and E is for storage.
I have 2 different images created of the drives at earlier dates. The images are stored on an external hard drive.
Both have Symantec Image file of C and E. But only one has a file called Symantec Recovery Environment and File Backup data folder which has FB files in it.
1. Can I use either image to recover my C drive? Or only the one which has Symantec Recovery Environment and File Backup data folder?
2. When I recover my C drive would I need to use Symantec Recovery Disk? What is it? Does the Norton Ghost 14 disk work as SRD?
3. I need help with the stepwise process of recovering my C: drive.
