Help required removing Norton 360 from my computer

Can someone please tell me what I need to do to remove Norton 360 from my computer so that I can install an alternative security suite. I have over two months on my subscription, but  due to Symantecs inability to be up to date with Firefox major updates, I ended up getting a Trojan on my computer. It was not discovered by Norton 360, it was malwarebytes that found it. This I know happened after I updated to the latest version of Firefox, which I believed Norton 360 would be compatable with. Now despite me having removed the trojan from my system, Norton 360 is not updating properly. To say I am angry is an understatement, but I know from posts I have viewed by many users on this forum that problems with Norton are common place, far more so than on any other Anti virus/security software support forum I have viewed before. Also there appears to be a large number of complaints about customer support from people on this forum. All this has made me realise that Norton 360 is not the safe secure product that I believed it was, and that an inability by symantec to sort issues out quickly, and treat their customers right, has made me come to the decision to find an alternative security suite. I dont like making negative comments toward anyone or any company, but I feel these are justified. I hope Symantec resolves the issues of compatability with Firefox  soon, and that they learn to listen to their customers better, but I wont be using their products again. My internet security is important to me, and I expect the software I use to work properly with all the major browsers, as in the case of Firefox it was in beta version long before full release. Anyway all I want now is for me to be able to remove Norton 360 completely from my system without any problems, so that I can install an alternative security suite.

I would appreciate any help.

I would like to end by saying thanks to certain individuals who do not work for Symantec, and give up some of their time on this forum  to help people like myself. Thanks for your help guys, you know who you are.

Hello,

...you will find the Norton Removal Tool. Run it with admin priviliges, reboot, then repeat to get rid of any leftovers.

Thanks for the link, I read somewhere that someone uninstalled the program with the correct tools and it removed some drivers from other programs. Has anyone experienced this? I'm concerned that this might happen to me.
