HELP! uTorrent 3.0 and NIS 2012

Hello! I installed NSIS 2012 and all of a sudden uTorrent downloads very slow with 2 kb/s. How do I configurate NIS 2012 to increase the uTorrent spead? My sistem is Windows 7 64-bit SP1. Thank you for your support! saludos Patrick

Welcome,

Do you have the same sort of slowdown when you try to down files from other sites? It may not be the firewall, it could be a busy host site or even a high traffic time on the Internet. Under most circumstances the default settings for Norton are just fine and allow traffic in both directions with little or no problem.

@dickevans: thank you for your reply. Streaming on youtube or downloading file somewhere else works fine at 380 kb/s. It’s just that ALL torrents reach a max download speed of 2 k/s.

Have you tried reseting firewall and resetting utorrent

Torrent do NOT by definition come with malware. Never on private trackers.

Hi,

You're quite welcome. Is this slow download condition an 'all the time' thing or does it only happen some of the time. If nothing else is wrong I'm thinking that it may be a function of Internet or server traffic causing things to go slow. One thing I have tried and had work is to abort the download and reconnect and try to restart the download. Sometimes it acts like I'm the only peron in the world downloading and finishes before I realize it started. At other times there's no change so I take a 'chill pill' and wait, and wait, and wait, and . . . . you get the picture:smileysad:
