Im using Windows XP home and the page that is coming up is http/otherhomepage and im using Norton Internet Security 2008

From what I've read about the changing of your Home to "otherhomepage", you might have Trojan.Zlob on your system. Please follow the removal instructions listed below:

How do i get rid of of i think is a spyware or malware intrusion. My internet home page keeps defaulting back to a antivirus site that is not Norton and a baloon keeps popping up saying i am under threat from major virus.

This has slow my pc right down i have tried to go onto control panel and remove it but it does not appear on the list go to C drive under program files and still does not let me delete.

 

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

Also please tell us what Operating System and Service Pack your computer has (e.g. Windows XP, Windows Vista, SP1, SP2, SP3..)?

 

Please tell us the exact URL of the page that your homepage keeps defaulting to? 

 

Please provide any other information you have seen that might indicate what type of malware you have?
