Hey Norton - Explain this

If a picture is worth a thousand words then this picture should say it all. This is the screen that was displayed after I clicked FIX NOW for the SONAR Protection being turned off and not functioning correctly:nis sonar err.jpgQuestion: Is SONAR Protection fixed or not? If the software doesn't know then how am I supposed to?
Immediately after this I clicked on Support and got this:norton err 2.jpgIf there are no issues then why the SONAR problem? Why did I have to manually start NIS? Why didn't NIS start with Windows as it should?

Since I doubt that anyone at Symantec/Norton has any idea what caused these conflictions to occur combined with the overall lack of reliability and knowledgeable tech support, it is time to find a security product that (1) works as it is supposed to; (2) doesn't cost more to renew than to purchase new; (3) doesn't require allowing tech support access to my system. Your support personnel cannot be trusted because they don't have any real knowledge of what they are doing. A 10 year old can follow screen prompts which is apparently all your tech support staff knows how to do. How do I know? One let it slip when he said "I don't see that problem on my screen" which he followed with "Let me escalate your case to the advanced support team".
