I am just clarifing about my input concerning the "missing green icon" and i said that once i had selected Norton as my web default search provider(powered by Ask) that emmediatly the green icon apperaed next to all Norton proven safe search sites and also on the search page was a Norton description of the (about 6 i think) variety of different icons and there colours and aslo some had an additional "tick" next to the safe green icon and the extra tick meant that the safeness was more up to date and re-proven again as safe.
What i forgot to mention,was that i was using 360 and not the basic NIS,so i hope that i didnt send some of you guys searching for answer about the "green icon",because since i have reverted back to NIS,there is just the "Norton Tool Bar" with the search page having a generalised safe indication.
Also,could one of the forum "Gurus" please tell me,with my basic laptop and only using it for surfing and the sometimes once to twice download in one to two weeks,do you think it is wise for me to subscribe to 360 or just stay with NIS.
i would appreciatte some guidlines of your professionalism.
