Hidden Fees and Incompatibility

This is my 2nd attempt.  I am really having my doubts about Norton.

I got an email today that said my info was compromised on the web and you wanted me to buy " Privacy Monitor Assistant" to protect myself.  REALLY!!!???  What was it I paid for that said it was Norton 360 with LifeLock?  I am considering canceling this "so-called" security.

I have been trying to load Norton on my cell, Galaxy A50, to no avail, for quite some time now...starting back when Xfinity was paying for it.  I tried to load it on my Amazon Fire and got a message that Norton was not compatible with this device.

Oh, one other thing.  I was taken to a site that was all in German.  I tried to tell them the same thing and got a message that it was outside of their working hours: 8:00 to 20:00.  Evidently they are located in Germany and I have no idea what time it is there.

First thing to check is the validity of this email Is this email from Norton legitimate?  Here is some information on Norton Privacy Monitor   https://us.norton.com/feature/privacy-monitor

For the Samsung device, what error messages are you seeing when trying to install? You should be able to just go to the Google Play Store app and look for Norton Mobile Security app. Install that and then sign into your Norton Account as part of the install process to activate the full version.

The Amazon Fire devices along with other Amazon devices do not use the standard Android OS. They use a proprietary version of the OS which makes it incompatible with many regular Android apps, including Norton.

Where did you get the link to Norton Support? It sounds like you may have used a link from an internet search. The results you get there are almost always not genuine Norton Support but companies that provide support for many software apps.  Genuine Norton support can be found at    www.norton.com/contactcs
