I have been plagued with ccSvcHst.exe and NIS Service using high amounts of the CPU. This has been going on for a few weeks. If I turn disable Anti-virus Auto Protect until Reboot and then reboot, the machine seems to behave for a while but after after some time, the CPU will again be hit hard.
It gets old rebooting every few hours so I was hoping this issue will be fixed in 18.5 when I finally receive it. Can anyone tell me if this is so? If not, I need a permanent solution to this issue. I've been bragging on NIS for a couple of years now telling people that the program is not the resource hog is was a few years ago. But now I can't say that anymore as it really slows down my computer when this happens.
