I received a really strange message from Norton this morning saying that my product had not been fully activated ( despite installing and fully activating NIS 2009 15 days ago ) - the email it produced for me to log in to my account was not mine and it also said it had been activated 65 days ago by someone else !
I bought the retail box of this ( it was not opened ) so there is no way anyone could have got the key legitimately and i'm not in the habit of trashing my own subscription by posting the key online.
I changed the email it was prompting me with to my own email and accessed my online account correctly where the product key was registered and showing the correct 350 days subscription remaining.
Should I be concerned abou this or is it just another bug or temporary server problem ? ( it did say the server was offline when i first tried to access my account via the link )
