After failing with my last attempt at hijackThis (my computer, or the HijackThis program, wouldnt let me fix any of the problems I needed to) I ended up doing a system restore (which i know isnt too smart a thing to do, and now I've just created a new HijackThis log. Could someone please tell me which files should be "fixed"?
Last time i did this i remember quite a few of the O23 files needed to be gone but i cant remember which. I also noticed that after i used hijack this once and then, without fixing anything, the one F2 file on the list disappears. Is this normal?

One other thing... After doign the system restore and running a liveupdate with norton i got an alert that said "Auto protect experienced an unexpected error... (3035,6) on restart after installing a norton 2008 product." Since then i have gotten the free upgrade to the 2009 IS, should that have fixed whatever the alert was warnign me about?
And... this is the last thing i promise... the main reason i did a restore was to try and get rid of a virus. but when i went into defender after the restore the virus, or whatever bad file it was, was still being quarantined there. I then attempted to remove the quarantined file and all i got was a blank defender screen, nothign saying that the file had been removed or anything. Any ideas on this?
I warn whoever tries to help me, when it comes to computers i really do not know much. I would like to learn though.
