What is your OS and its version? What is the Norton product you have install and its version/build? Have you checked these settings in Norton?

SA

Windows 11, 11th GEN Intel Core i9-11900K

Norton 360 not sure how to find version, but it is current and updated

Here is where to find your installed Norton version and build within the Norton UI:

Is Windows 11 Home/Pro and what build? You can find that information as follows:

SA

Device name

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i9-11900K @ 3.50GHz (3.40 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.6 GB usable)
Device ID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Product ID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

UI 1.0.108

Program version: 25.10.10528 Build 25.10.10528.957

I will have to assume your Windows 11 is Home version and build 25H2. What entries are in your Norton history that relate to the firewall may be blocking something?

Edited: Did you check the settings in the screenshot I provided to see whether changing on or more corrects the issue?

I did try those but didn’t help. I have pinged each computers IP address and they both reply, so they are on the network

Just a weird question coming to mind. Do these two computers have the same internal “name” in Windows? If so, RENAME one of them, the one that won’t connect and reboot it. Recheck.
