I just installed Norton 360 and found that I cannot open e-mails in hotmail.  I can see all of my e-mails but cannot open them.

Help.  Somehow someone was able to get into my hotmail email account.  It is sending emails to everyone on my contact list.  I have Norton antivirus online and I scanned the computer 2 times and Norton didn't find anything.  Please tell me how to remedy the situation Thanks

     Welcome. Can you give us more information : How you access your Hotmail (through Browser or through Email clents like Outlook/Windows Mail)? What Operating System you're using? What version of N360 you're using?

I am using n360 version 6.  E mail is through outlook 9 and I am running windows 7.

Thanks for the info. You're not able to open Website links(Hyperlinks) in emails or when you double click on your emails they're not opening up?

Try temporarily disabling the Norton Firewall to see if that will allow you to access your email. If that does not work, try disabling email scanning.

 

This will let us know if Norton is involved in your problem.
